Travis Green Dies in DUI HIt-And-Run Crash on Jurupa Road, Suspect Arrested

 
Jurupa Valley, CA (May 18, 2020)– On Monday morning, a 29-year-old Travis Green of Jurupa died in a hit and run on Mission Boulevard. Police then arrested the suspect, 25-year-old Keyshawn Henderson of Moreno, for DUI and hit-and-run.
 
The crash was reported at about 2:15 a.m. on May 18, occurring in Mission Boulevard east of Jurupa Road in Jurupa Valley. Dispatched officers arrived and found the pedestrian down on the scene.
 
Henderson reportedly struck Green in the roadway but continued driving for another 300 yards before coming to a stop near Rathke Drive and Golden West Avenue.

The Aftermath and Updates

Green sustained severe injuries and pronounced dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, Henderson and his passenger remained uninjured. Deputies reported finding an open container of alcohol in the vehicle following the crash.
 
Henderson will be arraigned at the Riverside Hall of Justice on Wednesday. Moreover, he is facing charges on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence of alcohol, causing death.
