Pedestrian Identified as Travis Balthazar Struck and Killed in Accident on Road 224

 
Fresno, CA (July 23, 2020) – On Thursday, 31-year-old Travis Balthazar died in a hit-and-run crash on Road 224. Shortly after, authorities arrested two suspects in connection to the crim.
 
The pedestrian was hit by a Madera driver at about 3:30 a.m. near North Fork.
 
Meanwhile, California Highway Patrol officers are investigating the crash.
 
Authorities later reported that evidence of intention was found. Therefore, the scene was turned over to deputies for a homicide investigation.
 
Later on Thursday morning, a white 1989 Acura sedan was found in Kerckhoff Reservoir, submerged partially.
 
As a result, detectives arrested Danielle Cook, 35, and Christopher Robesky, 49, both from North Fork, for the death of Mr. Balthazar.
 
They currently face charges of murder, possession of a firearm, and possession of ammunition, by a prohibited person.
