Fatality Reported in Las Vegas Pedestrian Accident on Valley View Boulevard and Viking Road
LAS VEGAS, NV (May 6, 2021) – Tuesday night, a transient woman died in a pedestrian crash on Valley View View Boulevard and Viking Road.
According to police reports, the incident occurred at 9:58 p.m. A transient woman in her 30s laid down in the left southbound travel lane of Valley View Boulevard at Viking Road.
Then, a southbound vehicle on Valley View managed to avoid hitting the woman. However, two other southbound vehicles then hit her. The authorities confirmed that all of the drivers didn’t show any signs of impairment.
“Emergency medical services transported the pedestrian to the University Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased despite all resuscitative efforts,” police added.
At this time, the authorities haven’t classified the incident as a traffic-related fatality. They’re still waiting for the Clark County coroner’s office to determine the death as an accident.
Due to the limited information available, the crash remains under active investigation.
