Tragic Vehicle Crash on Wright Road Led to Fatalities [Harris County, TX]

Harris County, TX (March 26, 2024) On Sunday evening, 2 people were killed, while several others suffered injuries in a vehicle crash on Wright Road.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), the fatal traffic crash happened around 6:30 p.m. on Wright Road, west of US 290 near Jersey Village.

Officials say that 2 people, ages 15 to 20 years old, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, 2 other patients were airlifted to the hospital.

Authorities say that a vehicle crashed into a fence and burst into flames. Officials say that 2 med in front, the driver and a 17-year-old boy.

Medics say that the driver suffered critical injuries, while the boy sustained less serious injuries compared to the driver.

Meanwhile, one of the passengers in the back was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. Moreover, another female backseat passenger, died at the hospital

Authorities say that speed may have been a factor in the deadly collision.
