1 Person Dead in Long Beach Traffic Accident near Carson Street and Palo Verde Avenue

LONG BEACH, CA (June 12, 2025) – Wednesday afternoon, a tragic two-vehicle crash near Carson Street and Palo Verde Avenue killed one person.

The incident happened at around 3:00 p.m. near Carson Street and Palo Verde Avenue.

According to the Long Beach Police Department, the crash involved two vehicles and a pedestrian.

Moreover, officers confirmed that one person died in the crash. Then, paramedics transported two people to a hospital with unknown injuries. Also, a third victim refused further treatment at the scene.

Furthermore, the crash closed both directions between Woodruff Avenue and Los Coyotes Diagonal.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified. 

Due to limited information, the Long Beach Police Department continued investigating the crash.
