1 Person Dead in Phoenix Auto Accident near 43rd Avenue and Ocotillo Road

PHOENIX, AZ (April 2, 2025) – Sunday night, a tragic two-vehicle crash near 43rd Avenue and Ocotillo Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 7:30 p.m. near 43rd Avenue and Ocotillo Road.

According to the Phoenix Police, a northbound gray vehicle lost control and allegedly served into the opposite lanes where it collided with a southbound red car.

Moreover, responders rushed the male driver of the gray vehicle to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Also, the driver of the red car sustained injuries but was not transported to a hospital.

Furthermore, authorities withheld the identity of the deceased, pending notification to the next of kin.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Phoenix Police continued investigating the crash.
