Tragic Traffic Accident on Highway 5 Claim Lives [Anaheim, CA]

Toddler and Elderly Man Killed in Anaheim 5 Freeway Crash; Three Others Injured

Anaheim, CA (April 20, 2025) On Saturday evening, a tragic traffic accident on Highway 5 claimed the lives of 2 people, a toddler and an elderly man.

According to authorities, the frightening incident happened around 7:10 p.m. on the northbound 5 Freeway near Magnolia Avenue.

Authorities say that a white Chevrolet SUV collided with a dark-colored Ford SUV. The impact caused the Chevy to roll over multiple times before it landed on an embankment beside the freeway. The Ford ended up facing the wrong direction on the shoulder.

Emergency crews responded quickly, and at least three other individuals were transported to a local trauma center. Their conditions remain unknown.

Authorities issued a SigAlert for the area while they cleared the roadway of debris and conducted investigations. The crash remains under investigation, but impairment may have contributed to the incident.
