Berkeley, CA (January 27, 2025) A female pedestrian was killed following a tragic traffic accident on Ada Street Sunday.

BPD said the fatal incident happened at about 1 p.m. at the intersection with California Street.

Emergency responders, including Berkeley police and firefighters, arrived at the scene and found the woman trapped beneath the vehicle. Firefighters worked to extricate her and transported her to a nearby trauma hospital. However, despite their efforts, the woman succumbed to her injuries.
