2 People Injured in Deadly Single-Vehicle Accident on McWane Boulevard
Oxnard, CA (May 2, 2023) On Sunday evening, a solo-car crash on Arcturus Avenue left 2 men dead and 2 others hurt.
According to the Oxnard Police Department (OPD), the deadly single-vehicle accident happened around 7 p.m. at the intersection with McWane Boulevard.
Reports say that a 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt sedan collided with a pole on a rural stretch of road in Oxnard.
Officials say that the Chevy was westbound on McWane Boulevard when the driver lost control of the vehicle and struck a pole.
Authorities say that the wreck trapped 4 men inside the vehicle and rescuers say that 2 men were dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics transported the 2 other patients to the Ventura County Medical Center.
OPD says that one of the deceased may have been the driver. Moreover, officials say that both patients in the hospital are now in stable condition.
Police are investigating the deadly single-vehicle accident and have not released further information at this time.
