1 Person Dead in Santa Rosa Auto Accident on Oak Grove Avenue and Graton Road

SANTA ROSA, CA (September 26, 2023) – Sunday morning, a tragic single-vehicle crash on Oak Grove Avenue and Graton Road killed one person.

The incident happened on Oak Grove Avenue and Graton Road, near State Route 116.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a Toyota Camry that was traveling at a high rate of speed veered off the roadway and struck multiple trees.

Moreover, officers confirmed that a 19-year-old passenger of the vehicle died in the crash. Then, paramedics transported the 19-year-old driver of the vehicle to a hospital with critical injuries.

Furthermore, authorities arrested the vehicle’s driver on suspicion of DUI.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
