SHASTA COUNTY, CA (November 2, 2023) – Tuesday night, a tragic single-vehicle crash on Highway 44 near Brush Creek Road killed three people.

The incident happened at around 8:00 p.m. on Highway 44 near Brush Creek Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle crashed into a tree for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, officers confirmed that three occupants of the vehicle died in the crash. Then, paramedics transported two more occupants of the vehicle to a nearby hospital with major injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
