Tragic Pedestrian Crash on MBEST Drive Kills 1 [Marina, CA]

Marina, CA (June 17, 2025) – A fatal pedestrian crash on MBEST Drive claimed the life of a person Monday evening.

According to authorities, the shocking incident happened around 11 p.m. on MBEST Drive.

Reports say that the fatal pedestrian crash in Marina prompted police to encourage witnesses to come forward.

Officers found the victim lying in the roadway, and despite life-saving efforts at the scene, the victim later died at the hospital.

Police also suspect a second vehicle may have struck the victim.

The driver involved in the initial collision remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation; authorities do not suspect DUI.

Westbound Reservation Road from Blanco Road was shut down overnight but has since reopened.
