Tragic Pedestrian Crash on Main Street Kills 1 [Hesperia, CA]

Hesperia, CA (June 20, 2025) Early Thursday morning, a tragic pedestrian crash on Main Street left a person dead.

According to authorities, the deadly crash happened around 2:52 a.m. on Main Street near Cataba Road.

Reports say that a vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian near a 76 gas station.

Emergency crews from the San Bernardino County Fire Department arrived and pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.

Authorities have not yet confirmed the victim’s identity or whether they were experiencing homelessness.

The crash involved a silver 2016 Chevrolet Malibu driven by an adult woman who stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators. The vehicle, which sustained major damage on the front passenger side, stopped just west of the intersection.

Deputies from the Hesperia Sheriff’s Station shut down Main Street at Key Pointe Drive to investigate the incident. Hesperia Public Works also assisted with traffic control and road closures.
