SAN JOSE, CA (November 8, 2023) – Monday night, a tragic pedestrian crash on Chesbro Avenue and Blossom Hill Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 9:35 p.m. on Chesbro Avenue and Blossom Hill Road.

According to the San Jose Police, a westbound 2006 Chevy Trailblazer struck a female pedestrian in a wheelchair who was traveling against a red light in a marked crosswalk.

As a result, paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

Moreover, the driver of the Chevy Trailblazer remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.
