The incident happened at around 9:00 a.m. at the 900 block of Sereno Drive.

According to the Vallejo Police Department, a southbound 2023 Nissan Kicks struck a female pedestrian for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders rushed the woman to a hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

Furthermore, authorities confirmed that the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.
