LA CRESCENTA, CA (August 1, 2024) – Wednesday night, a tragic pedestrian crash on the 210 Freeway near La Crescenta Avenue killed one person.

The incident happened at around 9:00 p.m. on the eastbound Foothill (210) Freeway, near the La Crescenta Avenue exit.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle struck a pedestrian who was running on the freeway for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, the Los Angeles County Fire Department pronounced the pedestrian, dead at the scene.

Furthermore, the crash closed all lanes of the eastbound 210 Freeway but has long since reopened.
