MORENO VALLEY, CA (July 5, 2023) – Tuesday morning, a tragic pedestrian crash near Iris Avenue and Perris Boulevard killed 1 person.

The incident occurred at around 6:53 a.m. near Iris Avenue and Perris Boulevard, said the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

According to reports, the crash involved a black Dodge pickup truck and an unidentified male pedestrian.

When the officers arrived, they performed life-saving measures. Then, they transported the male pedestrian to a local hospital where he later succumbed to injuries.

Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and didn’t show signs of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
