Midland County, TX (May 17, 2025) On Monday, a person lost their life after a tragic pedestrian collision on Highway 20.

According to authorities, the multi-car collision happened on IH-20 in Midland County early on May 12.

Reports say that a pedestrian lost his life in a multi-vehicle crash.

Authorities reported that a GM Sierra traveling westbound struck the man, followed by additional vehicles that ran over him.

The pedestrian, identified as a 49-year-old man from Venezuela, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is currently investigating the incident.
