Motorcyclist Dies in Lane-Change Crash on US 50 in Johnson County
Johnson County, MO (April 25, 2025) – A 63-year-old rider from Knob Noster was killed in a shocking motorcycle crash on Highway 50 Wednesday.
According to authorities, the fatal incident happened shortly before 5:30 p.m. on US 50 near NW 1421 Road.
Reports say that a woman driving a GMC Acadia fatally struck a motorcyclist while changing lanes on U.S. Highway 50.
The crash occurred in the westbound lanes of the highway, and the impact caused the 1987 BMW motorcycle to overturn, ejecting the motorcyclist. He died at the scene.
Authorities have not released his name.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol investigated the crash, with assistance from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
