Tragic Hit-and-Run Crash on Gravois Avenue Kills 1 [St. Louis, MO]

St. Louis, MO (April 02, 2025) – A bicyclist was killed in a tragic hit-and-run crash on Gravois Avenue on Tuesday evening.

According to authorities, the fatal crash happened around 7:50 p.m. in St. Louis’ Gravois Park neighborhood.

Reports say that a hit-and-run driver fatally struck a bicyclist. A gray SUV hit the bicyclist at Gravois and Bamberger before fleeing the scene.

After the initial impact, the bicyclist landed in the westbound lanes of Gravois, where three other vehicles struck him. Two of those drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

Emergency responders transported the bicyclist to the hospital, where he later died.
