4 People Injured in Live Oak Auto Accident on Larkin Road near Riviera Road

LIVE OAK, CA (May 30, 2023) – Sunday afternoon, a tragic head-on crash on Larkin Road near Riviera Road killed 2 people.

The incident happened at around 1:30 p.m. on Larkin Road, north of Riviera Road.

According to reports, a 2009 Toyota Camry attempted to pass traffic by crossing into the opposing lane where it collided head-on with a 2013 Ford F-150.

Moreover, officers confirmed that a 59-year-old woman from Oroville and a 52-year-old man, both passengers from the Toyota, died in the crash. Then, paramedics transported three occupants of the Ford and the Toyota driver to a Rideout Hospital with moderate to major injuries.

Furthermore, authorities do not believe that alcohol played a role in the crash.

At this time, the circumstances involved in the crash remained unclear. When additional information became available, the public will be notified.
