According to the West Sacramento Police Department, the fatal collision happened around 9:20 p.m. at West Capitol Avenue and Westacre Road.

Reports say that the fatal crash involved 2 vehicles, a Toyota and an Audi, and a pedestrian.

Officials pronounced the Audi driver dead at the scene, 2 occupants inside the Toyota and the pedestrian were injured. Both Toyota occupants sustained serious injuries.
