Bourbon, MO (June 16, 2025) – A fiery and tragic crash on Interstate 44 claimed the life of 4 people Sunday afternoon.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened claimed the lives of four people—two from Bourbon, Missouri, and two from Elizabeth, Arkansas.

Reports say that a motorhome driver veered across the median into the eastbound lanes and collided with a car. The impact caused both vehicles to catch fire, killing all occupants.

Authorities say that the victims included a 67-year-old driver and a 66-year-old passenger from Elizabeth, as well as a 65-year-old driver and a 64-year-old passenger from Bourbon.

Officials are conducting an investigation.
