VISALIA, CA (March 16, 2023) – Wednesday afternoon, two people died in a tragic crash on Demaree Street and West La Vida Avenue.

According to the Visalia Police Department, the incident happened just before 12:30 p.m. on Demaree Street south of West La Vida Avenue.

Meanwhile, the investigation revealed that a black GMC truck traveled northbound on Demaree. Then, it veered into the southbound lanes, crashing with a black Cadillac sedan.

As a result, the driver and passenger of the sedan succumbed to injuries at the scene.

Meanwhile, responders took the man driving the truck to a local hospital with injuries.

Also, the authorities haven’t disclosed the identities of the deceased due to the pending family notification.
