Tragic 2-Vehicle Crash on Millerton Road Kills 29-Year-Old SUV Driver [Fresno, CA]

Fresno, CA (May 12, 2023) On Thursday, a 2-vehicle crash on Millerton Road left a 29-year-old SUV driver dead and 3 others injured.

According to the CHP, the fatal SUV-truck collision happened near Millerton Lake in Fresno County.

Reports say that a westbound truck failed to navigate a curve and left the roadway, the driver crossed to the opposite lane and struck an approaching SUV.

The collision caused serious injuries to the driver of the SUV and 2 passengers on the SUV sustained major injuries as well. Medics transported them to a hospital, where the driver was pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, the truck driver sustained minor injuries, medics transported them to a hospital as well.

Officials have not officially released further details about the fatal SUV-truck collision.
