POMONA, CA (May 31, 2023) – Tuesday morning, a tragic 2-vehicle crash on 4100 West Valley Boulevard killed 1 person.

The incident happened at around 5:05 a.m. in the 4100 block of West Valley Boulevard, said the Pomona Police Department.

According to reports, a sedan and a “large commercial vehicle” crashed at the scene. As a result, a passenger in the car sustained fatal injuries.

Also, the authorities haven’t disclosed the identity of the victim due to pending family notification.

Moreover, paramedics transported the car’s driver to a hospital with moderate injuries. Meanwhile, the other driver sustained no injuries in the crash.

Furthermore, the authorities urged anyone with information about the crash to contact the Pomona Police Department’s Traffic Services Bureau at 909-620-2048.
