Tempe, AZ (March 28, 2025) On Tuesday evening, a 2-car crash on Elliot Road claimed a life and left 4 people hurt.

According to police, the horrific crash happened around 11:30 p.m. on Elliot Road at the I-10 overpass.

Reports say that the tragic two-vehicle collision resulted in one fatality and four injuries.

According to investigators, a westbound vehicle crossed the center lanes and collided with an eastbound car. The westbound driver suffered life-threatening injuries and later died. Authorities have not yet released their identity.

A passenger in the westbound vehicle sustained minor injuries, while the driver and two passengers in the other car suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police suspect the westbound driver may have experienced a medical emergency before the crash. They do not believe speed or impairment played a role. The investigation is ongoing.
