Santa Clarita Three-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 5 and Lyons Avenue

 
SANTA CLARITA, CA (January 3, 2021) – Saturday, a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 5 and Lyons Avenue stalled traffic.
 
The three-vehicle crash led to heavy traffic on Interstate 5 north of Lyons Avenue.
 
Officer Moises Marroquin with California Highway Patrol said that the incident didn’t block any lanes. However, debris was scattered along the freeway, which caused traffic.
 
Melanie Flores, supervising fire dispatch with Los Angeles County Fire revealed that the incident involved a semi-truck, pickup truck, and sedan. Furthermore, no one from the involved parties required hospitalization.
 
“If anyone had injuries they were just minor,” Flores said.
 
Also, the authorities didn’t issue a SigAlert or lane closures.
