Shocking Traffic Crash on Highway 60 Under Investigation [Los Angeles County, CA]

Los Angeles County, CA (February 21, 2025) Early Tuesday morning, a driver was killed and another was hurt in a frightening traffic crash on Highway 60.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the frightening collision happened at about 4:11 a.m. on the connector road between the 60 and 57 Freeways.

Reports say that a collision between two semi-trucks near the interchange of the Pomona (60) Freeway and the Orange (57) Freeway early Tuesday morning left one person dead and another injured.

Authorities say that both tankers overturned during the crash.

Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics pronounced one person dead at the scene, while emergency responders transported another victim to a hospital. Their condition remains unknown.

The CHP issued a SigAlert and closed three lanes on the connector road from the eastbound 60 and northbound 57 Freeway near Diamond Bar.

Authorities have not yet determined how long the closure will last as they continue investigating the crash.
