Bicyclist Killed in Early Morning Crash on Highway 190 in Tulare County
Tulare County, CA (March 22, 2025) – A 54-year-old Springville bicyclist was killed early Friday morning in a horrific traffic crash on Highway 190.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened around 4:50 a.m. on Highway 190 west of Road 284.
Reports say that the 54-year-old Springville bicyclist lost his life after getting hit by a pickup truck on Highway 190.
Authorities say that the cyclist was riding west of Road 284 when he crossed into the path of an oncoming truck driven by a 31-year-old man. The impact was fatal, and authorities pronounced the cyclist dead at the scene. The truck driver was not injured.
Officials have not yet released the names of those involved as the investigation continues.
