Tragic Traffic Crash on 53rd Avenue Results in Fatality [Glendale, AZ]

Glendale, AZ (May 26, 2023) On Thursday evening, a traffic crash on 53rd Avenue killed 1 person and injured 3 others.

According to the Glendale Police Department (GPD), the fatal vehicle collision happened near 53rd Avenue and Grand Avenue.

Reports say that a northwest bound vehicle lost control and crashed into a building. Officials say that the collision killed a person and 3 other people suffered life-threatening injuries. Medics transported the injured patients to a hospital.

Police closed Grand Avenue in both directions between 51st Avenue and 57th Avenue.

GPD is investigating the fatal collision, officials are looking for witnesses that could provide additional information regarding the tragic crash.
