Euless Man Killed in Wrong-Way Crash on Highway 183 in Fort Worth
Fort Worth, TX (January 5, 2025) On Friday, 69-year-old Steven Glenn Miller of Euless was declared dead while another driver was hurt after a tragic traffic crash on Highway 183.
According to the Fort Worth Police Department (FWPD), the fatal collision happened around 10:45 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Highway 183 near Amon Carter Boulevard.
Reports say that the devastating collision claimed the life of 69-year-old Miller and left a female driver hurt and hospitalized.
Emergency crews from the Fort Worth Fire Department, Police Department, and MedStar EMS arrived to find a heavily damaged sedan and a pickup truck engulfed in flames.
Investigators determined that Miller, driving the sedan, had been traveling in the wrong direction when the accident occurred. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A female driver in the pickup truck was pulled to safety by bystanders moments before the flames consumed her vehicle. She was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities have not released further information as the investigation continues.
