YSO Investigates Fatal Auto-Pedestrian Crash on West Wapato Road
Yakima, WA (July 20, 2023) On Tuesday evening, an unidentified male pedestrian died after a traffic accident on West Wapato Road.
The Yakima County Sheriff’s office (YSO) says that the fatal auto-pedestrian crash happened around 11:15 p.m. on the 2300 block of West Wapato Road.
Authorities say that first responders arrived at the scene and pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Officials say that witnesses place the victim on the road before the fatal crash.
YSO is investigating the auto-pedestrian crash and has not released further information at this time.
