Horrific Traffic Accident on Anaheim Street Kills 2 People [Wilmington, CA]

Wilmington, CA (December 28, 2024) On Thursday evening, 2 people were killed in a horrific traffic accident on Anaheim Street

According to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), the tragic incident happened around 10:32 p.m. at 1202 W. Anaheim Street, between Marine Avenue and Avalon Boulevard.

Reports say that 2 people lost their lives in the tragic crash after their vehicle collided with an excavator at a construction site late Thursday night.

LAPD officers and Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to the scene Responders found the victims at the crash site.

According to investigators, the driver was speeding on Anaheim Street when the vehicle struck the excavator.

One victim was trapped inside the vehicle and died at the scene, while the second victim was transported to a hospital, where they later succumbed to their injuries.

The LAPD’s South Traffic Division is conducting an investigation into the collision.
