TRACY, CA – One Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on 205 Freeway at Eleventh Street

Deadly 4-Vehicle Collision on 205 Freeway in Tracy

 
TRACY, CA (April 6, 2019) – At least one person was killed following a multi-vehicle crash Saturday morning in Tracy.
 
The fatal collision happened around 6:12 a.m., on 205 Freeway. Dispatchers arrived near the Eleventh Street off-ramp soon after.
 
According to the CHP, a total of four vehicles were involved in the accident. One of which was traveling west in the eastbound lanes of the highway for unknown reasons.
 
Law enforcement and paramedics also eventually arrived to the area due to needed medical attention. As a result of the impact, at least one fatality was confirmed. The identity of the victim has not yet been released pending family notification.
 
Furthermore, the crash raised a SigAlert, blocking three lanes of eastbound 205 Freeway for an unknown duration. No more information has been given at this time.
 
Due to several factors, the investigation is currently ongoing.
