39-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck by Car near Jenni Avenue
SANGER, CA (June 14, 2018) – A man was fatally struck by a car on Bethel Avenue, early Thursday morning. He was identified by the Sanger Police Department as 39-year-old Tommy Wright.
The fatal pedestrian collision took place in the area of Jenni Avenue, just before 2:30 AM. According to witnesses, Wright was lying on the road when he was run over by an oncoming vehicle.
Emergency responders pronounced him dead on the scene. His death was a result of major injuries, consistent with being run over. The female driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators during their investigation. She stated that she didn’t see the man in the road.
