Tina Jones Dies in Single-Vehicle Accident on Highway 4 Near Lone Tree Way

 
BRENTWOOD, CA (April 3, 2019) – A Pleasant Hill woman died Saturday when her car crashed on Highway 4 near Lone Tree Way.
 
The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. Tina Jones, 45, went off the road in an area devoid of a guardrail, police say. Subsequently, her eastbound vehicle crashed, leaving police and firefighters to find her dead at the scene.
 
According to news reports, officials found no sign of alcohol or drugs. However, a toxicology test will confirm whether impairment played a factor.
 
The Contra Costa California Highway Patrol Office urges witnesses to call them at 925-646-4980.
