52-Year-Old Male Pedestrian Pronounced Dead after Auto Collision on Highway 395 in Pasco

 
Pasco, WA (April 21, 2020)– Sunday afternoon, 52-year-old Timothy Mayberry was fatally struck by an elderly driver on Highway 395.
 
Officers first received reports around 2:20 p.m., in the Pasco area. Emergency personnel arrived to the area shortly after.
 
Washington State Patrol confirmed that the male victim was from Hummelstown, Pennsylvania.
 
The involved vehicle was a Toyota Camry heading north on the highway.
 
Investigators later reported that Mayberry was on the Court Street overpass when he fell down the road. He then landed into the northbound lanes of Highway 395. There, he was struck.
 
Moreover, Washington State Patrol said that Mayberry did not make it to the hospital, as he was pronounced dead on scene.
 
The driver of the Camry was also identified as 79-year-old Piotr Sinyuk, of Pasco.
 
Furthermore, the surrounding area on Highway 395 was closed off for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. However, the roadway has since reopened to traffic.
