2 Hospitalized after San Jose Car Crash
SAN JOSE, CA (January 10, 2020) – Two people suffered injuries in an alleged DUI car crash on Mabury Road on January 6.
Authorities arrested 19-year-old Timoteo Gomez on suspicion of driving under the influence. The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. at Mabury Road and Timothy Drive.
The investigation also revealed that a silver-colored 2003 Mercedes-Benz crashed with a 2004 Honda Accord at the intersection. The Mercedes then struck a large business sign, overturned and stopped on the 900 block of Mabury Road.
Responders took Mercedes driver Timoteo Gomez and an 18-year-old female passenger to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Meanwhile, Honda’s adult male driver didn’t suffer any injury.
Upon Gomez’s release from the hospital, the authorities arrested and booked him into Santa Clara County jail on a DUI charge.
