Tiffany Haynes of Los Angeles Dies in DUI Crash on 710 Freeway [Long Beach, CA]

Long Beach, CA (April 18, 2022) – On Monday morning, Tiffany Haynes, 32, of Los Angeles, lost her life, and officers arrested Alfonzo Star, 60, of Lakeview Terrace, in a DUI crash on 710 Freeway.

The fatal incident took place at about 1 a.m. at the transition of northbound 405 Freeway.

Haynes was driving a 2013 Toyota sedan when she stopped in the number 2 lane of northbound 710 Freeway.

Star was driving a northbound 2002 Chevrolet that rear-ended the Toyota.

Afterward, a big rig stopped on the partial right shoulder of the freeway next to where the Toyota rested.

Suddenly, a 2018 Ford driver swerved to the right and struck the Toyota and the big rig.

Unfortunately, Haynes succumbed to her injuries at the crash scene.

On the other hand, officers arrested Star on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol
