5 Critically Injured in Las Vegas Vehicle Crash
Las Vegas, NV (February 27, 2023) – On Saturday, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police arrested Tiffany Carter, 36, in a South Nellis Boulevard DUI collision injuring several people.
The traffic collision happened at about 7:42 p.m. in the area of East Vegas Valley Drive wherein three vehicles were involved.
The LVMPD said that a 2001 Dodge Ram driven by Carter was fleeing a non-injury hit-and-run collision with a 1999 Chrysler Sebring on Nellis Boulevard and Sahara Avenue.
The Dodge traveled south on Nellis Boulevard to the intersection with Vegas Valley Drive at a high rate of speed.
The Dodge ran a red light and struck the left side of an eastbound 2009 Toyota Corolla on Vegas Valley Drive.
As a result, the Corolla went into the intersection on a green light and was redirected south where it collided with a 2018 Nissan Rogue that was stopped at a red light.
The paramedics rushed four people from the Toyota to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center by ambulance. Each of them, including a 6-month-old, is in critical condition.
Moreover, the Nissan driver incurred minor injuries and stayed at the crash scene.
Officers arrested Tiffany Carter at the crash scene. She incurred minor injuries and showed signs of impairment.
