Sacramento Tiana Hawkins Dies in Dixon Semitractor Accident

 
Dixon, CA (June 22, 2021) – On Sunday, 17-year-old Tiana Hawkins of Sacramento was struck and killed by a semitractor-trailer on Interstate 80.
 
Indeed, the Sacramento teenager was struck and killed early Sunday as she stood on the shoulder of westbound Interstate 80 in Dixon.
 
Apparently, a semitractor-trailer struck her near a separate injury crash, the California Highway Patrol reported.
 
Moreover, the fatal crash took place at about 12:48 a.m., at the westbound lanes of the freeway at Dixon Avenue.
 
The semitractor-trailer driver was unable to stop and crashed with multiple vehicles at the crash scene.
 
Later reports say Hawkins was a female passenger from a previous accident. She was standing on the right shoulder when hit by the the semi-truck, and sustained fatal injuries.
 
The officers are still investigating the Dixon big rig accident.
