Goleta, CA (January 28, 2021) – On Thursday, County Fire and paramedics responded to a vehicle crash on Calle Real.

The incident happened around noon, at the intersection with North La Patera Lane.

When authorities arrived, they found out that three vehicles were involved in the crash.

Apparently, one of the vehicles flipped and came to rest on its roof during the crash.

Meanwhile, authorities closed Calle Real in the area of the crash.

Similarly, rainy weather caused multiple road closures on Thursday.

To avoid accidents, aim high in steering. Don’t make your steering adjustments based on what is directly in front of you, but rather what is down the road.

If the road is winding to the right, for example, look as far into the turn as possible. This will improve your safety and make your turns smoother.

Next Steps After a Vehicular Accident

According to the United States Department of Transportation, there are approximately 300,000 merging accidents every year.

Common events on the road can just as swiftly become safety hazards. Therefore, everyone must remain calm to properly handle the immediate aftermath of an automobile collision.
