Three Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Eighth Street [Westlake, CA]

Westlake, CA (March 18, 2022) – On Thursday, three people sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on Eighth Street.

At about 1:35 a.m., the authorities responded to reports of assault with a deadly weapon near Lucille Avenue.

Apparently, the armed suspect drove away as the authorities were approaching. As a result, troopers started a chase.

Minutes later, as the suspect vehicle drove eastbound, it crashed with two vehicles on Eighth Street and flipped on its side.
