Morning 4-Vehicle Wreck on Highway 101 in Thousand Oaks, Complaint of Pain Reported

 
THOUSAND OAKS, CA (December 14, 2018) – One person was hospitalized following a three-vehicle crash Friday morning on southbound Highway 101 at Wendy Drive.
 
The crash happened just after 8:00 a.m. involving a white Toyota Tundra, a black Toyota Tundra, a white truck and a silver Prius.
 
Details of how the crash occurred were not immediately available, but the impact caused blockage on the slow lane. Several parties were standing outside of their cars in the center divider.
 
Ventura County Fire Department officials responded to the scene and found one patient who complained of pain. The individual was then taken by ambulance to Los Robles Regional Medical Center for proper treatment.
 
The black Toyota pickup truck sutained major front-end damage and was towed away from the crash site.
 
No additional information was provided at this time. The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
