Modesto Police Searching Suspect in Snyder Avenue Pedestrian Accident

Modesto, CA (November 24, 2022) On Wednesday evening, a hit-and-run collision on Thornhill Way injured a 72-year-old woman walking in the street.

Reports say that the pedestrian accident happened at about 11:30 p.m. at the intersection with Snyder Avenue.

Officials say that a white four-door sedan struck the woman head-on. Authorities say that the vehicle was occupied by a woman and a man.

After the crash, the vehicle stopped and the driver and passenger exchanged seats, then fled the scene afterward.

Good Samaritans assisted the injured woman who suffered head abrasion and complained of pain.

Police are searching for both suspects and their vehicle.
