Brenda Athletic Clubs President Arrested for DUI Crash on Colorado Avenue in Turlock
Turlock, CA (June 23, 2022) – Wednesday night, police arrested 61-year-old Thomas Brenda after a DUI crash on Colorado Avenue.
The crash happened at around 11:04 p.m. on June 22 in the 2300 block of Colorado Avenue.
Turlock Police said the collision involved a gray BMW coupe and a black Chevrolet pickup truck.
Reportedly, Brenda headed northbound on Colorado Ave approaching E Tuolumne Road at an unknown speed, and crashed with a Chevrolet pickup truck that parked legally on the side of the road and unoccupied.
Brenda sustained minor injuries but refused to seek medical attention.
Police arrested Brenda and booked him into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 or greater.
Moreover, the California Department of Motor Vehicles issued an administrative driver’s license suspension order and impounded his vehicle.
