THERMAL, CA – One Killed in Rollover Crash near Polk Street and 66th Avenue

Late Evening Rollover Crash in Thermal Kills East Valley Driver

 
THERMAL, CA (January 14, 2019) – At least one person was killed following a rollover crash late Monday evening in Thermal.
 
The fatal crash happened around 10:48 p.m. near the area of Polk Street and 66th Avenue.
 
According the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle had overturned on its roof and the driver was partially ejected from the vehicle.
 
Responding fire crews pronounced the driver dead at the scene. The victim was only identified as an East Valley resident.
 
A pole near the area was also knocked down from the crash.
 
No additional information was provided at this time. Authorities are still piecing together exactly what occurred.
