Tyler Mazac Dies in Car Accident on Interstate 80 Freeway near Fairfield

 
Solano County, CA (May 8, 2020)– On Wednesday night, a car crash on Interstate 80 Freeway killed 29-year-old Tyler Mazac.
 
It was 9:10 p.m. on May 6 when the incident happened. According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash took place near Fairfield.
 
The 29-year-old victim from Hockley, Texas was reportedly seen driving a 2019 Chrysler when the incident occurred.
 
CHP Officer Miguel Camarena said that the now-deceased victim collided with a 2020 Kia Forte. The crash between the two vehicles happened on the connecting lanes of westbound Highway 12 and westbound Interstate Highway 80.
 
Mr. Mazac was able to get out of his damaged Chrysler and tried moving to the right side of the ramp. There, Camerana said that he was struck by a blue Mazda CX-9, at around 9:22 p.m.
 
Furthermore, the driver of the Mazda remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Moreover, Camerana reported that neither alcohol nor drugs were a contributing factor to the fatal collision.
 
None of the vehicles involved have been identified by the police.
