Terry Barnhart Killed in Accident on West 4th Avenue [Kennewick, WA]

Kennewick, WA (May 22, 2023) – On Saturday, Terry Barnhart sustained fatal injuries following a bicycle accident on West 4th Avenue.

The authorities responded to the crash scene past 4 a.m. in the 2600 block area.

Officers said the caller told them they found Barnhart unconscious and bleeding on the sidewalk. They also said there was a bicycle next to him. 

By the time the authorities got to the location, witnesses said another man arrived saying he knew Barnhart. The witness said the man was going to take the bicycle from the crash scene and hold on to it for him. 

The man left the crash scene.

Unfortunately, Barnhart succumbed to his injuries on the sidewalk.

Meanwhile, Kennewick Police Department Criminal Investigations Division and the Traffic Division handle the investigation.

The authorities ask that whoever took the bicycle from the scene return it to them so it can be processed for evidence. They said the bicycle was a style of mountain bike that had been recently spray-painted blue.
